Receive

Show a fresh ltc1 address, or one reusable ltcmweb1 stealth address. The two forms share one Receive card. Coins stay on the side that was paid until Swap moves them.

In the v0.4.13 prototype.

A receive is how someone else pays this wallet. Public shows a fresh ltc1 address. Private shows one ltcmweb1 stealth address. The two forms share one Receive card. Coins that have already arrived stay on the side that was paid. Moving them between those sides is Swap.

The Receive card

The card is titled “Receive Litecoin.” Public and Private each show that side’s balance. The figure is the Public form. The address on screen is a fresh ltc1 address, and the QR encodes that address. An optional amount or label turns the QR, and “Copy payment link,” into a BIP21 litecoin: request. Amount requests of that kind are Public only.

“New address” asks for another Transparent address. Older ones keep working. A fresh address per payment keeps history harder to link.

Public

An exchange, and most Litecoin wallets, pay a public ltc1 address. The first time funds arrive, the wallet says they arrived on Public, and that Swap can move them to Private after they confirm if you want confidentiality. Private is optional.

Copy address copies the ltc1 string. Copy payment link copies the BIP21 request, including an amount and a label when those fields are filled. That label is part of the payment link. It is not the note Send saves on this device.

Private

The Private form shows one stealth address. It can be reused without linking payments the way a Transparent address can. The QR encodes that address alone. There is no amount field and no payment link. Only an MWEB-aware wallet can pay it.

The desktop wallet that implements this is the v0.4.13 prototype. It has not been independently audited. Receive shows where to pay. It does not, by itself, move funds between Transparent and Privacy.
